Dewey Short Visitor Center

Large metallic structure with pipes and panels being installed outdoors near a body of water, with construction cables supporting it.

The Dewey Short Visitor Center, located in Branson, Missouri, features interactive exhibits, great lake views, a film about the area and construction of Table Rock Dam.

In this informative video, you will observe the thorough purging of any forging material from the supply and return lines for the Slim Jim® assembly. As the Slim Jim® assembly is gently lowered into the water, it becomes evident that the assembly's PVC stabilizers allow it to effortlessly float just below the water's surface without the need for additional support. These supply and return lines are securely attached to the exchanger before the flushing process commences. Watch closely as water displaces the air in the Slim Jim® plates, causing the assembly to gradually descend to the installation depth. Gradually, the Slim Jim® assembly becomes barely visible as it embarks on its descent to its designated installation depth, resulting in a flawless and picture-perfect installation process.

The Dewey Short Visitor Center is utilizing a Slim Jim® Assembly rated for 50 Tons Heat of Rejection.
